There is so much to love about Forgotten Island (2026)! This adorable, heartwarming film is an absolute delight from beginning to end. The entire voice cast is fantastic, the animation is dazzling, and the film moves with such wonderful energy and momentum. The beautiful colors give the film an especially vibrant personality, while its inspiring story delivers plenty of heart. What makes Forgotten Island even more special is how thoughtfully it explores themes of identity, friendship, forgiveness, grief, and empowerment. It also offers some wonderful and enlightening insight into Filipino culture and folklore, adding richness and meaning to an already enchanting story. Warm, colorful, energetic, and genuinely uplifting, Forgotten Island is the kind of feel-good film that leaves you smiling long after the credits roll. I can’t recommend this beautiful film enough.
